Rental Assistance

The Santa Ana Housing Authority provides rental assistance through the US Dept. of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Housing Choice Voucher program, also known as Section 8.

The Santa Ana Housing Authority is not currently accepting applications. The wait list is closed.

The Santa Ana Housing Authority is located in City Hall, 2nd floor, Building 20, Civic Center Plaza in downtown Santa Ana and is open from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday.

Countywide Affordable Housing Information

There are apartment complexes throughout Orange County that are required to set rents at "affordable" levels. Each complex maintains its own waiting list. Please check the County's website for further information.
