For ten weeks in the summer months of 2009 and 2010, as part of our Summer Volunteer Institute program, teens participate a variety of Buddy mentoring programs.

Math Ninja Buddy
Program enables teen "Big Buddies" to mentor "Little Buddies" with weekly 2 hour math tutoring and testing. Eight to ten summer sessions with progressively harder levels culminating in a Black Belt Math Ninja ceremony for those who complete the program.

"Big Buddies" mentor "Little Buddies" in physical exercise activities and in healthy eating behaviors.
