As part of the ICMA project Connect!, teen volunteers were given opportunities to get connected to higher education, via a fieldtrip to the University of California, Irvine (UCI). Everyone enjoyed a fun tour of UCI. It began with a small presentation and Introduction by the Vice-Chancellor of UCI. Followed by an enjoyable lunch over at one of the cafeterias. The tour was fun and educational, teens learned a lot about UCI and its traditions. The tour ended with a presentation about the different programs students can do at UCI and how one goes about applying and attending UCI.
