If you get this - "The Pin Number entered is not valid. Please try again."
Try this - Try entering the permit number and pin number again. Remember, the pin number should be 5-
digits and the permit number should be 8-digits. Both numbers are located in the upper right hand
corner of your permit (not the job card).
If you get this - "The Permit Number and Pin Number entered are not valid. Please call (714) 647-
5853 for further assistance."
Try this - Make sure you are
entering the correct numbers in the correct fields:
Building Permit numbers will always start with 1
Electrical Permit numbers will always start with 2
Plumbing Permit numbers will always start with 3
Mechanical Permit numbers will always start with 4
Grading Permit numbers will always start with 5
If you get this - "The Permit Status is not valid. Inspections may only be scheduled for a permit
issued and not yet finaled. A Permit that is expired or void cannot be inspected."
Try this - Verify that you have
entered the correct permit number and pin number for the permit you would
like to schedule the inspection for. This message likely means that your permit has not yet been
issued, is already finaled, or has expired. To view the inspections that have taken place at your
property go to the City's online inspection history to look up your property by address.
