Citizen Participation Plan and Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report Comment Period

The City of Santa Ana is taking comments on the draft Citizen Participation Plan and the draft Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) for fiscal year 2018-2019. The Citizen Participation Plan delineates how the City plans to encourage public participation in the planned use and expenditure of entitlement grants awarded to the City by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Office of Community Planning and Development (CPD). CPD entitlement funds received by the City include the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Home Investment Partnerships Grant (HOME), and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG). The CAPER includes a summary and evaluation of the City’s use of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funds for the 2018-2019 program year. A draft copy of both documents is available for public review during normal business hours from August 12, 2019 to September 12, 2019 at Santa Ana City Hall, 20 Civic Center Plaza, Community Development Agency, 6th floor; and Office of the Clerk of the Council, 8th floor. In addition, the draft CAPER will be made available on the City’s website at: www.santa-ana.org/cda.
