Lane Closure on Bristol Street Begins Today, 12/10/19

There is a one lane closure on northbound Bristol Street between 18th Street and Santa Clara Avenue. As part of the Bristol Street Rehabilitation Project, the one lane closure is for construction to replace bus pads and cross gutters. The lane closure is effective today, December 10, 2019 through Wednesday, December 19, 2019. Please use alternate routes and plan for possible delays. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Downtown Santa Ana’s Historic Architecture to Shimmer, Art Walk Returns on Saturday, Dec. 7

Downtown Santa Ana will begin shining a light on Santa Ana’s treasure trove of historic buildings this Saturday, Dec. 7.

Orange County’s finest collection of Art Deco/Moderne, Beaux Arts, Neoclassical and California Churrigueresque-style buildings from the 1910s through the 1930s will be lustrously lit each Saturday night this month from 6 to 10 p.m.

The lighting display kicks off during the monthly DTSA Artwalk. The Artwalk takes place from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday and is centered at 125 N. Broadway.

Westminster Avenue Closures Starting Tonight, 12/4/19

OC Streetcar construction crews will be working day and night shifts to build a column support structure for the Westminster Avenue Bridge. To accommodate this work, a full closure of Westminster Avenue, from Harbor Boulevard to Enterprise Drive, will be in effect tonight, Wednesday, 12/4/19 and Thursday, 12/5/19 from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the next morning.

The full closure of Westminster Avenue, from Harbor Boulevard to Enterprise Drive, will be in effect again, Friday, 12/6/19 starting at 7:00 p.m. and continuing through Monday, 12/9/19 to 5:00 a.m.

Santa Ana City Council Will Meet Tonight, Dec. 3

The regular meeting of the Santa Ana City Council is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. tonight, Dec. 3, 2019.

The agenda includes the following matters that are not on the consent calendar (consent items are routine items considered for approval in a single motion):

• Resolution to create a master pay schedule, which will list all public city employee pay rates on a single publicly available document.
